The Wood River Branch Railway is a modular O scale layout that is part of the Mohegan Pequot Model Railroad Club (www.mprr.org). The club is always looking for new places to display their various modular layouts in HO, O, and G scales. Most of our events are at organized model railroad shows in southern New England, however we have also brought our display to various community events in Connecticut and Rhode Island as well as places as far away as Pennsylvania.
The Wood River Branch layout can be booked with the club as well as separately as it is owned by one individual. If you are interested in having the Mohegan Pequot Model Railroad Club bring its layouts to your event, feel free to send me an email and include potential dates, location, and size layouts requested and I will pass your interest along to the club members. Since the club is an all volunteer organization, we do need some lead time to properly plan and commit to bringing a layout to a display.
While the HO and G scale layouts are mostly shown exclusively in the northeastern US, the plan for the O scale Wood River Branch is to travel to shows around the US. At present, the layout comes as a display only – I don’t plan on selling items at events other than the joy of model railroading. For this reason, I do request some help in offsetting the costs of travel associated with your event.
